For her first exhibition in Texas, Michelle Blade will exhibit a series of dura-lar paintings that mimic “windows” that look out onto colorful aurora borealis vistas and mystic accoutrements. The goal is to create a space inspired by the iconic Rothko Chapel in Houston, Texas, a space for spiritual reflection, connectedness and meditative quietude.
Born in Los Angeles California, San Francisco based artist Michelle Blade earned an M.F.A. from the California College of Arts in 2008 and has exhibited and curated exhibitions throughout California and beyond.
